I joined Mr Kwek's tuition classes at the end of Sec 3 and at that point of time, my Chemistry was terrible. I was constantly getting F9s in school. However, after a year of lessons with Mr Kwek, I jumped from F9 to B3 in O levels. Mr Kwek is a very patient and adaptable teacher. If I forgot the concepts of a certain topic a few lessons after he had gone through it, he will not hesitate to re-teach the lesson and further explain the things I am unsure about. In Primary School, I was never good at math and science and only achieved a C for Science and B for Math for PSLE. I joined Mr Kwek's tuition in Sec 1, and it really helped me keep up during lessons in school and also helped me gain a better understanding towards my combined science and math subjects. I was always weak in math since I was young, so dealing with both elementary and additional math in secondary school was a huge problem for me. However after joining Danyal Education, I was exposed to a conducive study environment, along with a caring teacher who helped me overcome my fear for Math. Joining Mr Kwek's tuition really helped my A Maths. I started off having F9s or E8s. However after joining the tuition, I could already see improvements from an F9 to a grade of C6. By O levels, I was able to jump from a C6 to an A2 with the help of Mr Kwek's constant practicing and drilling of A Maths. He also helped me better understand science concepts in Physics and Chemistry to help me score B3 for both subjects from a C6 for Chemistry and D7 for Physics.

Mr Kwek's tuition has been helpful for me because he clarifies my questions from school when I do not understand them. He is patient when going through questions with me. Mr Kwek is a miracle worker. He worked very earnestly with me through the last few months in Secondary 4. My A Math grade was a C6 during prelims, and through intensive training and encouragement from Mr Kwek I managed to get an A2 for A Maths. Mr Kwek gives his attention to all his students and encourages them always. He would remind me to focus more if he sees that I'm falling behind. I think that the notes that Mr Kwek provides are very compact and useful so it's easier to revise when it comes to examinations. The exercises given after every topic also help with the understanding of the topic. Closer to O levels, the practice papers given help by giving exposure to different questions! Mr Kwek's explanation is also very clear and accurate 😊

I think that what works well for me the most is that the areas that I am not sure of or weak in are well covered and that the work given is prepared so that there will be fast improvements.

I think the topical practice questions helped me to learn A Maths best. The practices allowed me to understand the concepts better and made sure I could complete similar ones when I encountered them. Mr Kwek's meticulous way of marking my work ensured that I presented my working properly. I also find that other school exam papers are very useful to help me gain exposure to different varieties of questions out there which enable me to solve problems faster and more confidently during exams.

Personally I find Mr Kwek's teaching very excellent as he is willing to take the time to explain each formula or concept step by step, which is very good for students who take a longer time to absorb the facts. He sets up intensive classes for graduating students so that they can do well in the national exams. He is also a very patient teacher who makes sure that we fully understand the concept before proceeding to the next step. He treats all students equally and fairly. He is probably one of the best tuition teachers I had in my schooling years 🙂

I think Mr Kwek was very clear when teaching me concepts and the worksheets we do every lesson really helped my foundation in Chemistry and A Math. The practice papers we do towards major exams help me to get a better grasp on common questions.
